The Acropolis is the center of augmenter research and is located off Lyceum, it is also heavily affiliated with Lyceum. There is a mission chain which rewards players with varying levels of augmenter tweaking, as well as items like honorary mentions or even special augmenters. As such, it is a popular destination for many players, especially concerning augmentation business.
An interesting note this galaxy use to have three smaller bases near the larger main station which required Imperial Tweaking to dock in, which is a skill that is no longer offered in the game.
