Station Kits

Station Kits can be used to create a player Base. Unattached kits can be deployed in any clear space in a buildable galaxy. To deploy a kit a player must have Station Management skill equal or higher than the tech of the kit. Attached kits must be attached to a Planet or Moon by selecting the object then using the kit by double clicking. There is a maximum of 25 kits in one galaxy. The amount of kits a character can deploy depends on the tech of the kit, the levels of Station Management and Station Research the character has, and how many kits have been deployed already by other characters on the same account, as detailed here. The number of solar panels a kit can equip is 2/5ths of its diameter. Kits can be abandoned through the [X] menu or by being without rations for too long. They can also be destroyed.

Base slots taken are equal to the number at the end of that tech's base kit. e.g. Adamantium Station Kit IX = 9.

Tech 0-1 = 1 Slot

Tech 3 (Arcadian) = 2 Slots

Tech 6 (Ares) = 3 Slots

Tech 9 (Adonis) = 4 slots

Tech 12 (Argonaut) = 5 slots

Tech 14 (Ambrosia/Avalon) = 6 slots

Tech 16 (Andaman) = 7 slots

Tech 18 (Achilles) = 8 slots

Tech 20 (Annihilator) = 9 slots

HQ and Outpost Kits

HQ's are used to own star systems in Wild Space, so long as there is a star system that connects to the HQ's star system, you can own vast amounts of star systems. Outposts can own a single star system that isn't connected to HQ-owned star systems. The Galactic Palace Kit found in Anatolia can be claimed once the universe has enough colonies and your team has at least 5% of the total colony population in the game, the palace is used to begin an emperor run for a team, and will generate Imperial Seals for the team who controls it.
