Ship Tech Upgrades

Ship Tech Upgrades increase (only increase, ship tech cannot be decreased) the tech of a ship to the tech of the upgrade item. As with Station Tech Upgrades, this does not scale stats, but simply allows a higher tech of Augmenters and Items to be equipped/used.
However, there is one possible drawback: these items will limit the augmenter slots of ships they are used in to a set standard. Light Fighters get a maximum 4 augmenter slots, Heavy Fighters and Freighters can have up to 3, and Capital Ships max out at 2.
As a final note, you can equip a higher tech upgrade even after you've already upgraded the tech of your ship.
