The Battle Sphere is a tech 20 version of a battle thatch, and embodies the philosophy that bigger is better. Like its tech 15 cousin, it suffers from a crippling weakness to mining damage and has a weak engine permanently equipped. Nonetheless, enormous hull space and a stunning five augmenter slots on this ship allow it to be customized at an unparalleled level, and it has accordingly seen use in the endgame by more than half of the eight combat classes!

As the commodity necessary to build this ship can only be obtained from Emperor Shaddam Kilrathi IV, it occupies a higher tier than most tech 20 ships.

The first Battle Sphere was built by the player Jey.

Variations

The Singularity Sphere, like the thatch to the battle thatch, is the transport version of this fearsome ship.
