I am Ancalagon the Black. I was bred by Morgoth, I arose from the infernal pits of Angband, and I am the greatest dragon to ever live.
Ancalagon the Black is an extremely powerful dragon, a level 8000 Black Nightfury residing in Ancalagon's Lair - a system within the Dragon's Lair custom DG chain.
Timotheus the Red is the roaming version of him, found in Perilous Space.
He has a 33% chance of dropping one of the following:
- De-Focused Plasma Particle Distributor - self-damaging heat weapon
- Amplificative Oscillation Ion Emitter - splashing laser weapon
- Anti-Transmographic Decombulator - transference weapon
- Semi-Blackhole Pulse Generator - radiation implosion device
- Nightfury Focus Generator - tweak device
- Nightfury Rage Generator - tweak device
- Quantum Identity Refractor - cloak
- Nightfury's Anger - augmenter
- Nightfury's Patience - augmenter
Ancalagon also drops a Dragonslayer's Presence holoprojector and Nightfury's Burst Crate, a crate of 25 tweaks. He also will drop 1-3 Black Nightfury Souls which can be turned in at Iq' Bana 10 at a time for one of the above drops.

- "I am Ancalagon the Black. I bring fire."
- "Final warning, leave now, or regret forever. BE GONE!"
- "My winged-drakes will finish you, human."
Upon Death:
- "I was Ancalagon the Black, I was slaughtered by (player name)."
