Weapons section

Erm, change weapons section back please, move what u have to the /Weapons/Sort_By_Tech page and revert the old one back. It is much harder when you are looking at the tech rather than the damage type because the main thing you look for a weapon is the damage type and how much dmg it does

I don't know why an asian link spammer decided this would be a great place to spawn, but there are 5 pages that are cleaned and should be deleted entirely. I'm assuming you can do that. =)

It might be a good idea to not allow anonymous people to modify wiki pages considering the amounts of spam recently and the fact that generally the same people modify the wiki pages properly, anyway.

well i like not having to make people log in to edit, see the fact that you were not logged in when u wrote this... But also, i would have to do it page by page. I do make it so that people have to log in on pages that do not need editing often but get a lot of spam, i am slowly making the conversion on pages that receive a lot of spam and not a lot of edits. -Simon 12:12, 30 August 2007 (PDT)

Wanted Pages

I'm going to work on adding Wanted pages as well as relinking links to their proper locations. I need to remove unneccesary user IP Address links first, considering how many links there are to simply unregistered user pages; its just annoying me. Ship Images

Many ships are currently using the default PNG image in the spaceships folder of Star Sonata. I was thinking of personally getting all in-game screenshots and cropping them down to the actual ship: in-game ships can have modified hues, animations, particle effects, et cetera that vary from their basic image file. Plus, I think it would look more interseting than having just the ship pointing toward the right upon a black/white/grey background. --Nuro 13:00, 31 August 2007 (PDT)

Can we just get Arrow to stop unregistered users from posting? I know some people hate having to log in but then they won't get pissed off by the spamming too Peter_The_Puller

I personally think that it might be a good idea to do so. However, if it is not wished for users to be required to create an account to edit, Arrow needs to at least implement some form of denial of edit if one attempts to add greater than 40 external links to the page. Pretty much, if a user attempts to submit the page with greater than 40 external links (spambots generally do in the 70-120 link range) that specific edit it denied, and potentially the editor is informed that he or she must reduce the number of links in the page. --Nuro 12:15, 7 November 2007 (PST)

Rhino

You do NOT want to get a Rhino. Rhino might have more hull, but resists are EXTREMELY weak (only around 35%+ to most things compared to the 55%+ on Paxes) and it is much slower. The small built-in boosts to shields can be obtained on a Pax+ for about the same cost, but without the horrid resists and slow speed. --Nuro 18:34, 5 November 2007 (PST)

I don't know if you've noticed but as I not only use tla but also try to contribute to it, filling in stats of, mostly f2p, items.

I want to use this issue to thank you a lot for all the efforts you put herein and the info you provide in the forum. Tla are the "missing manual"/documentation Starsonata needs so desperatly - especially for beginning players.

I have to things in mind for some time which I would like to discuss with you:

First: Rouding of decimal numbers; Especeally with the new layout of the Shield page it becomes obvious that rounding should be reduced to at least 2 decimals after the colon. Also this won't affect really comparing two item or the exact calculation, which would be calculated based on the original stats anyway.

If you agree I would in time just cut down the decimals so we would have 1.48 instead of 1.481481481

Second: A more complicated matter is that I would like to add a colum with tracking to the weapon page: it should be noted which type of tracking (or aiming) a weap posseses: e.g.: full turreted for HTL, half turreted (or 180°) for Voltage laser, missile weap like Magcan to not steal too much of you're time I think the basic of this idea is clear. I did put some thought into the classification of the different weapon types which I would like to discuss with you if you're interested at all in this issue

I think we need certain way to quickly find Uni specific information for maintenance/administration purposes. Like those skill locations that change from uni to uni. (Some skill pages have temporary location tables.) I was wandering if we could do group "page containing temporary information" or tag or something for it.
