Captain Bartholomew Roberts is an uber AI who roams warp-3 in his Dark Freighter, equipped with four multi-fired Dark Fists, five multi-fired Ethereal U beams and a powerful Exiled tractor that can all too easily reduce the opposition to a quivering blob of stasis. He is on his own team, "Robert's Convoy". The DG version of this uber is Black Bart.

He is primarily killed for the blueprint and commodity needed to construct a dark freighter, and also for the occasional Calypso augmenter.
