Barbe Bleu

Barbe Bleu (Blue Beard) is a low level uber that resides in Barbe Bleu's Refuge found off of Blue Outpost. It requires a Blue Aether to jump into the Refuge upon which you will be immediately attacked by Barbe Blue in his Space Blue Alpha Advanced x1 and his guards in Space Blue Alpha Interceptors. Barbe Bleu can be a lucrative uber for lower levels to kill as he drops Barbe Bleu's Mods Augmenter and the Space Blue Alpha Blueprint and Space Blue Alpha Advanced x1 Blueprint all of which are needed for Sol missions. In addition killing Barbe Bleu is the last mission in the Enforcer mission chain starting in Sol.
Strategy: The main strategy for kill Barbe Bleu is first kill his guards, as these can do more damage then he can. Then try and dodge his ship. A Hotrod or Hotrod+ can easily dodge his 2x Multifired Blue Bullets Alphas. Use a Magcannon or Magcannon 2 for out ranging him and his guards, and try not to get close or his Ethereal Laser IIIs will do a lot of damage. Laser Diffusers can help to reduce the impact of his lasers.
